Originally, I sat down to write out some thoughts on these tough transitional years for my brother as he neared adulthood himself. As someone who is finishing up the 20′s with my faith intact – by God’s grace – I wanted to sketch out scouting report for the road ahead.

There are some things I wish I’d known about the early adult years and I wanted to talk straight about how to keep his faith alive through the bumps and bruises he is sure to encounter — and encourage him to embrace his God-given role to stand out from the crowd.

After passing those original scrawlings around to a few friends and hearing their feedback, I’ve found it was striking a chord with others. I’ve also found that the manuscript as it stands needs refinement. The purpose of this blog is to generate conversation and insight from my sharp and candid group of friends in the hope that we can make something worthwhile with what I’ve started.
